BBB Warns of Internet Company Racking up Complaints from Consumers in 25 states and 21 countries

Columbus, OH – August 7, 2012 – The Better Business Bureau of Central Ohio (BBB) today issued an alert to warn consumers and businesses against an online beauty product company. MBeauty Lounge, an internet company selling popular discounted nail polish products worldwide, has racked up over 115 complaints from consumers in 25 states and 21 countries.

BBB complaints reflect that after making online purchases theirorders neer arrive or have received the wrong order after a long delay.

"This business is not delivering products that consumers and businesses have paid for, then hiding behind their website," said Joan Coughlin, BBB spokesperson. "When the customers ask for a refund or a replacement, they are ignored."

BBB files reflect 115 complaints have been filed against MBeauty Lounge, 80 of which have gone unanswered. BBB estimates from complaints filed by consumers and businesses loosing over $4,000 with MBeauty Lounge.

A local businessman who ordered twenty-two bottles of nail polish said, "Not once did I ever get a direct response to any of the emails sent to their customer service dept. I will never order anything from this ‘sham’ of a company again."

The address they are using, 5195 Hampsted Village Center Way # 114, New Albany, OH 43054 is that of a UPS Store, which receives and forwards mail. Their website; http://www.mbeautylounge.com is registered to Contact Privacy Inc. a web hosting company located in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. The actual physical location of the business is unknown to BBB.

Consumers are advised to file a dispute with their credit card or PayPal if after eight weeks the merchandise has not been received.
